Ducting
GLC designs and fabricates Industrial ducting which is crucial for mechanical ventilation. It is vital for the health and safety of your employees as well as the efficiency of the plant manufacturing processes. We design and install Industrial ducting, which maximizes efficiency and lowers operating costs.
Process Piping
Great Lakes Combustion Inc. process piping systems installations are of the highest quality in the industry. All of our installers are licensed technicians and pipe welders are TSSA certified, to ensure that you receive quality workmanship. We have worked with a variety of process fluids including: natural gas, steam, compressed air and oxygen. For any of our installations we will obtain the required certification from the appropriate governing body, TSSA Boilers and Pressure Vessels division. We can also provide you with NDT of our installations ranging from pneumatic pressure tests to x-ray weld examination.
Equipment & Moving Installation
We ensure that all the equipment completed is installed to meet OEM specifications as well as any in-house installation codes your company adheres to. From a single piece of equipment to entire process lines, we have the capacity and expertise to complete the scope of work.

Our facilities here at Great Lakes Combustion includes, 16,500sqft of technical fabrication and shop space complete with an overhead crane bay with dual 5 tonne cranes. Our equipped facilities allow us to do a wide variety of fabrication with the use of all the resources to complete your scope of work.
Control Panels
We can provide a simple single burner combustion control panel, or a multi-burner PLC based control panel with VFDs for your blowers and fans. Standard panels or custom designs are cost effective with the understanding of the development of control panel safety codes.
Design Build
Here at GLC we are able to undertake a wide variety of material types from stainless to galvanized steel. With our certification from The Canadian Welding Bureau, our welders have the expertise to exceed your expectations for quality and safety. Complimentary to our metal fabrication services we also offer sheet metal fabrication. We have experience installing ductwork of various sizes and types and have the in-house capability to fabricate a large variety of duct types and fittings.
Approvals (TSSA & ESA)
Having an approved fuel system is a must. Industry enforcement and insurance requirements within Ontario are driving companies to get their equipment approved. Great Lakes Combustion Inc. has helped its customers get approval on hundreds of pieces of equipment. Whether it’s a new installation or approval of existing equipment we can guide you through the approval process. In the cases where you may want old equipment approved we will gladly look at your system and help you to understand what must be done to bring it up to the current codes.
